ITS Japan, a nonprofit organization, held its 2026 Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting, General Meeting Symposium, and Networking Reception on June 15 (Mon) at the Keidanren Kaikan. This year, ITS Japan officially launched its Fifth Medium-Term Plan, introducing a refreshed logo that has been in use for the past 30 years and adopting a new slogan: "Shaping the Future." At the Annual General Meeting, NTT Corporation and KDDI Corporation were welcomed as new Standing Director companies, strengthening cross-industry collaboration by enhancing integration and cooperation between ITS and the telecommunications sectors. Annual General Meeting At the General Meeting Symposium, themed "A New Start for ITS Japan," the organization presented an overview of the Fifth Medium-Term Plan and introduced initiatives aimed at advancing ITS infrastructure to support automated driving and safety, including collaborative efforts with the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA).
