The Japan Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (JVOAD) has established the "Akutsu Hiroko Future Fund" following a bequest from the late Hiroko Akutsu. The fund aims to enhance disaster resilience by supporting collaboration among disaster relief networks, sharing knowledge across various fields, and creating a safe society for future generations.
