TAKARA & COMPANY, INC. and its group company Takara Printing Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kouta Shirai), which provides IPO and disclosure support, along with some of its subsidiaries, are pleased to announce the introduction of a special leave program called "TryDay Vacation" starting June 2026. This initiative aims to improve employee well-being and maintain/enhance productivity, marking the commencement of our company's unique 3-day weekend system. 1. Background and Objectives of the Initiative In pursuit of "Employee Happiness," a materiality for our group, and the realization of well-being, we conducted a 1-year trial of a 3-day weekend system from February 2025 across all departments (including some subsidiaries). This trial identified various challenges and concerns, alongside proposed improvements and a significant number of positive opinions. While ensuring our service structure for clients, we will continue to improve business processes through DX (Digital Transformation) and other measures. We will strive together as a company to embrace a new way of working that values employees' self-development and their connections with society, family, and the community. 2. Operation of the Company's Unique 3-Day Weekend System (Overview) In addition to regular annual paid leave (company holidays), employees will be granted 12 days of special leave (TryDay Vacation). This will be implemented over a 6-month period designated by the company (excluding peak business periods for the entire company), allowing for a 3-day weekend equivalent every other week.
