However, many inquiry-based learning activities end after research and presentation, and do not significantly differ from the learning styles typically conducted within schools. On the other hand, while high school students can research social issues through inquiry-based learning and are aware of the actions being taken in society regarding these issues, many express that when it becomes a personal matter, they "don't know how to get involved" or feel it's "a problem a bit too distant for me." Another challenge is that when they try to take action, they face the hurdle of being labeled as "too idealistic" by those around them, making it difficult to proceed. 【What is "RE:ACTION"? ~The world changes when fun people get involved~】 Instead of viewing engagement with social issues as "difficult" or something "only for highly motivated individuals," "RE:ACTION" aims to foster unique social actions starting from exciting, positive emotions like "fun," "interesting," and "cool."
