The cover features The Writer I Admire Was Not Human, with manga by Toji Aio, original story by Mikage Sawamura, and original character designs by Sky Emma. The series presents a world where the eerie and fantastical breathe within everyday life, following a vampire writer and a rookie editor as they investigate non-human incidents. Manga volumes 1 and 2, along with original novel volumes 1 through 4 and EX, are currently on sale to strong reception. The back cover includes information on Monthly Comic Gene’s 15th anniversary fair, which begins on Monday, June 15, 2026.
