Eve y WiLL Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toshiaki Sudo; hereinafter “Eve y WiLL”), which works to solve multiple regional social issues through logistics and regional revitalization solutions, announced that it has been selected as a subsidized business operator under the FY2026 Okinawa Startup Hub Promotion Project implemented by the Cabinet Office and the Okinawa General Bureau. Following recognition including the Grand Prize at the final review session of the public-private co-creation accelerator program “Social X Acceleration for OKINAWA 2025” held in January this year, Eve y WiLL applied to the program with the aim of addressing multiple social issues in Okinawa and has now been selected. Through this project, Eve y WiLL will conduct a demonstration rollout in Okinawa of “Toriiku,” a multi-stakeholder benefit service designed to help address six social issues: the logistics crisis, regional revitalization, idle real estate, resident safety, decarbonization, and transportation challenges. Relationship between Toriiku and national policy: The Comprehensive Logistics Policy Outline for FY2026-2030, approved by the Cabinet on March 31, 2026, identifies reducing the burden of last-mile delivery as one of its most important priorities. It explicitly calls for the development of local pickup bases that support logistics and sets a target of raising the usage rate of parcel receipt methods other than face-to-face home delivery to 50%. Through this selection, Eve y WiLL will practically roll out in Okinawa “Toriiku,” an unmanned parcel drop-off and pickup spot that aligns with this national policy and is expected to spread across Japan. By deploying Toriiku, the company aims not only to reduce Okinawa’s logistics burden, but also to contribute simultaneously to solving multiple social issues, including effective use of unused spaces and revitalization of local communities. What is Toriiku? It turns 1.5 tsubo of space in town into logi
