CAC identity Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Eisuke Nakanishi; hereinafter referred to as CAC identity) has developed 'Kokoro Sensor Data Visualizer' (hereinafter referred to as KSDV), an analysis and visualization tool that organizes expression and emotion data (CSV format) acquired by 'Kokoro Sensor,' software capable of analyzing emotions from video. We will begin offering a trial version for free testing starting in July. 'Kokoro Sensor' Logo ■Background for the Launch of 'KSDV' 'Kokoro Sensor' is an emotion analysis software independently developed by CAC identity based on the emotion recognition AI 'Affdex.' It quantifies the expressions and emotions of individuals captured in video files and real-time footage, and can output logs in CSV format. It is used in a wide range of fields, including academic research, UX research, and marketing verification. However, it is not easy to derive meaning from the output CSV logs as they are. Tasks such as graphing the transition of emotion scores, extracting specific time periods, and comparing differences between subjects or conditions often require preprocessing with spreadsheet software or programs, which has been a challenge, taking time before analysis can begin. Therefore, CAC identity has newly developed 'KSDV,' a dashboard that allows for visualization and analysis of the CSV logs output by Kokoro Sensor directly within a browser. In addition to confirming emotion transitions simply by loading a CSV, all data processing is completed within the browser, making it possible to handle logs of experiment participants and survey subjects without sending them to an external server. We are launching a free trial version first for customers who are currently using or considering Kokoro Sensor.
