Densan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Kawano; hereinafter "Densan") and Daisen City, Akita Prefecture (Mayor: Hiroyuki Oimatsu; hereinafter "Daisen City") have agreed to introduce "Atoful®" (hereinafter "Atoful"), a post-payment Furusato Nozei service that originates from local consumption, and have decided to jointly proceed with its full-scale operation in the city. For viewing seats for the "Omagari Fireworks" (Official Name: National Fireworks Competition, hereinafter "Omagari Fireworks") held in Daisen City, Furusato Nozei can be made using "Atoful" based on the receipt, regardless of whether the tickets were purchased through general sales or online. Background of "Atoful" Introduction in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture The "Omagari Fireworks" held in Daisen City has long been cherished as a national fireworks competition and is a major event that attracts many visitors every year. The city has been considering a donation system that leverages this strength to expand new points of contact with visitors. Traditional Furusato Nozei requires pre-payment, but it was thought that by creating a system that accepts donations "after" the fact, even for those who have already purchased viewing seat tickets, more donation opportunities could be provided, leading to the introduction of "Atoful". Since viewing seat tickets can be used for Furusato Nozei applications through "Atoful" based on the receipt, regardless of whether they were purchased through general sales or online, the fact that visitors can be targeted regardless of their purchase channel aligned with Daisen City's policy. Furthermore, the system that allows donors to choose the donation amount from the receipt amount was also a decisive factor in the introduction. By promoting new initiatives that broaden the scope of donations, we aim to create opportunities for more people to learn about Daisen City and connect it to the promotion of regional charm. ▼List of Partner Municipal
