Kimono Rental wa go, operated by Compass Corp., will launch a collaboration campaign with portable fan brand JisuLife from May 22 to August 31, 2026, following the start of its yukata rental service on May 15, 2026. During the campaign, customers using yukata rentals at wa go’s eight stores across Japan, including locations in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo, will be able to borrow JisuLife handy fans for free on a first-come, first-served and limited-quantity basis as a heatstroke prevention measure. The campaign is designed to make summer Japanese-style outfits cooler and more comfortable to enjoy. wa go offers yukata rental services every summer and welcomes many customers each season. With summer 2026 expected to be hotter than average across Japan, the company planned this collaboration with JisuLife to help customers reduce heat-related discomfort while wearing yukata. The JisuLife handy fan offers 100 levels of airflow adjustment, a maximum wind speed of 9 m/s and a battery life of up to 30 hours. It is intended to help users stay cool while walking, reduce discomfort from sweat and makeup smudging, and remain useful during summer festivals, sightseeing and crowded outings. Its compact and lightweight design fits easily into drawstring bags or small handbags, while its simple and refined look pairs naturally with yukata styling for trips with friends or dates. The free rental campaign runs from May 22 to August 31, 2026. Eligible participants are customers using yukata rental services at Kimono Rental wa go. Customers can request a handy fan at the store; advance reservations are not available. After completing the usage policy form, customers will also receive a JisuLife purchase discount coupon. The coupon offers 5% off on Amazon and the official JisuLife website, can be combined with other coupons, and is valid until September 30, 2026. The campaign applies to all eight wa go stores nationwide: Kyoto Station Kyoto Tower Sando, Kyoto Gion, Osaka Shinsaibashi, Kanaza
