(JRP), the organizer of the SUPER FORMULA Championship—the premier motorsports series in Japan (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takanaga Ueno), has announced the keynote speakers and exhibiting companies/organizations for the "3rd Technical Session," to be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Fuji Speedway in Oyama Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. Following last year's 2nd Technical Session, this year's event will once again be held under the sponsorship of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA), with the theme of "SDV (Software Defined Vehicle)." A record 13 companies and organizations from automakers, parts suppliers, IT companies, universities, and research institutions will participate in the exhibition, representing the forefront of their respective fields. Keynote presentations will feature leading engineers from Honda, discussing advancements in connected two-wheeled vehicle technologies, and from GAZOO Racing, presenting on software development for GR vehicles driven by motorsports experience. Additionally, the Japan Motorsports Industry Association (JMIA) will deliver a keynote titled "The Current State of Domestic Formula Racing," discussing the NEXT-FORMULA-PROJECT, and will exhibit the prototype of the newly unveiled, Japan-origin next-generation formula car, the "JNFP-1." The technical exhibition area will bring together diverse technologies including precision machining and measurement, cloud computing, energy systems, tires, and IT systems, aiming to foster cross-industry collaboration sparked by motorsports.
