However, parents and guardians sometimes struggle to determine if their child needs emergency medical care, and during busy periods like flu seasons or long holidays, waiting times at clinics can become extended. In light of these circumstances, Mito City decided to establish a system for easily consulting with doctors online and an environment that facilitates medical attention during nighttime and holidays, with the further goal of enhancing child-rearing support. ■ Comments from Mito City Officials Mito City is actively pursuing various policies to support child-rearing. This project will implement services that allow parents and guardians to receive online medical consultations and examinations from home using smartphones and other devices when their children are sick or injured during holidays and at night, ensuring they can live with peace of mind.
