Mukuil Inc. (Location: Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Ryuga Irie) has developed an in-house business card management app that handles everything from OCR capture of business cards to input and organization of interview details, in order to streamline the management of business cards acquired at exhibitions. This app was utilized for the operation of our own booth at the "AI Expo Nagoya 2026" exhibition (Dates: June 16-17, 2026 / Venue: Nagoya Convention Hall). This app was developed internally to resolve the "struggle with piles of business cards" and "personalization of input tasks" encountered in our company's exhibition operations. It addresses issues faced by staff at exhibition venues, such as: "The burden of manually entering the large volume of business cards collected during the exhibition after the event." "Information gathered during business card exchanges (challenges, interest levels) being fragmented between notes and the business cards themselves." "Management in inconsistent formats, leading to delays in initial follow-up." By replacing these with a workflow of Capture → OCR → On-the-spot Input → Centralized Management, it facilitates smoother lead follow-up after the exhibition. Background: The on-site challenge at exhibitions of "Business cards are collected, but not fully utilized." While exhibitions are valuable opportunities to meet many leads, processing the large number of business cards collected during the event is a common challenge that troubles many staff members each time. At the venue, staff are often only able to receive business cards and conduct brief interviews.
