Combeez Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuichiro Yamazaki) announced on June 17 the results of a survey predicting the increase or decrease of AI-utilizing email newsletters in the future. ▼ A Beloved Email Distribution Tool with AI Features for Everyone ▼ https://x.gd/bEsUHX Survey Background With the spread of generative AI, methods for corporate information dissemination and content creation are changing. While the use of AI in email newsletters is expected to expand, it is not clear how readers predict future changes. This survey was conducted to understand whether AI-utilizing email newsletters are expected to increase in the future. Survey Results Of the 200 valid responses, "I think it will increase to some extent" was the most frequent answer with 116 responses (58.0%). Next, "I think it will increase significantly" had 59 responses (29.5%), bringing the total number of responses predicting an increase to 175 (87.5%). "I think it will remain unchanged" had 15 responses (7.5%), "I don't know" had 9 responses (4.5%), and "I think it will decrease" had 1 response (0.5%). What the Survey Results Indicate The results show that approximately 90% of respondents predict an increase in AI-utilizing email newsletters going forward. As AI adoption itself becomes commonplace, accuracy of information, human oversight, relevance to readers, and uniqueness of writing are expected to become differentiating factors. Rather than competing solely on speed of implementation, clarifying quality control and responsibility as a sender may lead to sustained trust.
