ASOBOX Villa is a product that proposes a new accommodation business model, blending the flexibility of trailer houses with the high-value-added stay experience of villas. ■ Creating a New Standard for the Accommodation Business ~A New Option to Meet Rising Accommodation Needs and Transform Idle Land into "High-Value-Added Accommodation Facilities"~ In recent years, with the rise in tourism demand and inbound tourism, there has been a growing need for high-value-added stay experiences that allow guests to enjoy unique regional nature, culture, and scenery. According to the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), while high-value travelers account for only about 2% of all inbound visitors, they represent about 19% of spending (※1), making them an important target for expanding regional consumption. On the other hand, attracting high-value travelers requires "high-quality accommodation facilities that convey the region's story," and a challenge is that such facilities are not sufficiently developed, especially in rural areas (※2).
