View Details OVERALL JACKET 91-J 1947 MODEL Also known as "Housemark Label" and "Long L Button" Born in 1921, the "91-J" is one of Lee's signature workwear items, developed to be worn with overalls. Except for the WWII period, it had already achieved its perfected design in the 1930s, a design that continues to this day. It became widely known by the nickname "LOCO JACKET (Locomotive Jacket)" as it was favored by many locomotive engineers with the development of the American railway network before the war. The 1947 model being reproduced faithfully recreates the details of its perfected form. Functional beauty born from actual work sites is reproduced in every detail, including an inner pocket for storing railway timetables, a left chest pocket for efficiently storing pocket watches and pens, and slanted hand pockets designed for easy access to tools.
