AINEC Inc. entered into an agreement with Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, on June 19, 2026, for the "On-site Solar Power Generation Facility Introduction Project by PPA Method (Okazaki City Hall West Building)". In this project, our company will act as the PPA provider and general contractor for construction, installing solar power generation equipment at zero initial cost and selling the generated electricity to Okazaki City Hall. This project is being implemented as part of Okazaki City's decarbonization initiatives, following the city's selection by the Ministry of the Environment as a "Decarbonization Pioneer Region Creation Project." The "Regional Decarbonization Transition and Renewable Energy Promotion Subsidy" from the Ministry of the Environment is being utilized for the project's implementation. The installation site is the Okazaki City Hall West Building, with an expected facility capacity of 62.4kW. The estimated annual self-consumption is 73,320kWh, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 22.7 tons per year (emission factor 0.310kg-CO2/kWh). The power generation equipment is planned to operate for 20 years from the start of operation. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2026, with power supply commencing in October of the same year. On-site PPA is a system that allows customers to introduce solar power generation equipment without bearing the initial investment or maintenance costs. By consuming the generated electricity on-site (self-consumption), it promotes local production and consumption of renewable energy and contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it helps reduce energy costs amidst rising electricity prices. Construction System Responding to Public Facility Constraints City halls are public facilities used by many citizens, and it is required to minimize the impact on facility operations.
