Kansai Mirai Bank (President: Shogo Harutoji), part of the Resona Group, will set up an account opening booth at Kindai University's Higashiosaka Campus in collaboration with two seminars from Kindai University's Faculty of Business Administration (Professor: Masataka Hanamaki, Associate Professor: Keimei Isoyama). The booth will be open from Monday, July 13, 2026, to Friday, July 17, 2026. While limited-time booths for account opening within university campuses have been held three times previously, this is the first initiative where students participate from the planning stage of the booth. Aiming to Build Long-Term Relationships Through Expanded Touchpoints with Young People Accounts opened during university years tend to be continuously used after graduation for salary deposits and various payment purposes. Our bank is working to create touchpoints with young people opening an account for the first time. We have held campus booths three times, starting with Kyoto Sangyo University in October 2025, attracting approximately 370 visitors and resulting in about 100 account openings. In this initiative, we aim to expand touchpoints by leveraging students' unique insights, leading to future primary account usage and increased brand awareness. Joint Planning and Information Dissemination with Students Students belonging to Professor Hanamaki's and Associate Professor Isoyama's seminars at Kindai University's Faculty of Business Administration and our bank's employees collaborated for about a month, jointly designing everything from the booth's concept to its operational methods. Discussions were held on visitor flow design and engaging content to attract interest, advancing the planning process with a student perspective. Furthermore, students took the lead in information dissemination, planning and filming an announcement video for the university's official Instagram.
