Our group has received a "Gold" rating, ranking in the top 5% of companies assessed by the international rating agency EcoVadis, in recognition of our continuous improvement in sustainability initiatives. This marks the first time our group has achieved this "Gold" rating. About EcoVadis EcoVadis is one of the world's largest sustainability assessment platforms, with over 150,000 companies participating from more than 180 countries. As global interest in corporate sustainability activities grows, EcoVadis is utilized by many companies as an international benchmark for the effectiveness of these activities. The EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment comprehensively evaluates corporate activities across four themes: "Environment," "Labor & Human Rights," "Ethics," and "Sustainable Procurement," based on its unique assessment criteria. Our Group's Initiatives As a responsible global company, our group promotes sustainability management to realize a sustainable society. Specifically, we are working to visualize CO2 emissions across our entire supply chain and collaborating with global suppliers to visualize the CO2 emissions of the raw materials we purchase, aiming for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across our entire supply chain by fiscal year 2040. In this assessment, our continuous global initiatives and their improved effectiveness, particularly in the areas of "Environment" and "Sustainable Procurement," were recognized. Furthermore, the strengthening of our promotion system throughout the supply chain was highly evaluated, leading to the "Gold" rating.
