Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. and Daiwa House Property Management Co., Ltd. today (July 2, 2026) signed an "Agreement on Support and Cooperation in the Event of Disasters" with Date City, Fukushima Prefecture (Mayor: Hiroyuki Suda). This is the first time our company has signed such an agreement with a local government in Fukushima Prefecture. 1. Purpose of the Agreement Our company enters into "Agreements on Support and Cooperation in the Event of Disasters" with municipalities where our developed logistics facilities are located, in order to protect the safety and security of nearby residents during disasters such as earthquakes and heavy rains. To date, we have signed agreements with 22 municipalities nationwide (for 35 logistics facilities) (Note 1) and have actually utilized these facilities as temporary evacuation sites for residents. We have now signed an "Agreement on Support and Cooperation in the Event of Disasters" to enable the smooth execution of emergency response measures during disasters, by providing the common areas within our multi-tenant logistics facility (Note 2) "DPL Fukushima Date" (single-story, site area: 30,521.74 m2, total floor area: 16,986.66 m2) as temporary evacuation sites and temporary storage locations for relief supplies.
