Sakai City is seeking applicants for the Reiwa 8 (2026) fiscal year for its "Venture Procurement Certification System," which certifies excellent products and services from businesses within the city and supports their challenges in new fields. Eligible New Products/Services (must meet all of the following requirements) 1 Must have been on sale or available for service provision for less than 5 years at the time of application. 2 Must be significantly different from existing products or services and possess excellent utility value. 3 Must be a product or service with market potential. 4 Must be a product or service for which a use is anticipated within city agencies and for which there is little purchase history. 5 Must be a product or service that complies with relevant laws and regulations and does not pose problems related to rights such as patent rights. *However, food, pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs and cosmetics, pesticides, and construction methods and technologies are excluded. 2.
