The Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization (Location: Nachi-Katsuura Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as "Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization") will hold a special event "HANABI CRUISE NACHI-KATSUURA -- A Fireworks Viewing Cruise Enjoyed from the Sea, Touring the Pacific Ocean --" on August 11, 2026, to coincide with the fireworks festival held in Nachi-Katsuura Town. This event will allow participants to view the fireworks from a ship on the Pacific Ocean. On the day of the event, the cruise will depart from the Nachi-Katsuura Town Tourist Pier, offering a leisurely journey across the Pacific Ocean while viewing the islands of Kii-no-Matsushima. At the climax, participants can enjoy the fireworks that vividly color the night sky and sea surface from the ship off Nachi Bay. Participation applications will be accepted starting at 9:00 AM on July 1st via the Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization's official website and social media.
