Marubeni-I-DIGIO Group's Manufacturing Solutions Segment (Segment CEO: Yukihiro Sato) announces that Marubeni Information Systems, Inc. (President and CEO: Yukihiro Sato) has begun sales and order acceptance for the latest Stratasys PolyJet 3D printer, the J850TM Core. The J850TM Core is a new PolyJet 3D printer designed for functional prototyping, focusing on core capabilities by removing full-color functionality and limiting model material loading capacity from seven to three types—based on the high-end J850TM Series. It inherits the fast single-material modeling performance praised in the previous Eden/Connex series while supporting multi-material printing with up to three different materials. While earlier models such as the J850TM Pro/Prime also featured a three-material high-speed mode, they were limited to a 27μm layer thickness option. The J850TM Core now enables selection of a 14μm layer thickness even in three-material mode. This allows users to choose between high-detail 14μm printing for precision prototyping or high-speed mode when throughput and volume are priorities. For customers who have valued fast single-material printing and cost efficiency, the J850TM Core offers an upgraded model that maintains comparable productivity while enabling multi-material use and improved quality. It is ideal for development teams requiring superior material properties (hardness/softness, toughness, transparency), high build speed, large build volume, and multiple material storage. The J850TM Core is expected to be used not only for functional prototyping but also for various applications such as jigs and fixtures that leverage its excellent material characteristics. This model is recommended both for first-time users of PolyJet 3D printers and for existing users of the previous Eden or Connex series. The Marubeni-I-DIGIO Group has served as an authorized reseller for Stratasys since 1992, offering products for over 30 years. In addition to selling 3D printers, the gro
