The center will operate as the Company's first Kyushu-based facility for its Pet Solution Business through a partnership with local partner companies. By establishing a base at an optimal central location within the Kyushu region, the Company will build a stable and efficient supply system across Kyushu while also constructing and enhancing a wide-area logistics network connecting Honshu and Kyushu. ■ Background of the Center's Establishment Leveraging its strengths as a trading company-affiliated 3PL provider, the Company has launched multiple core businesses and expanded its operations with the goal of contributing to society as a supply chain solutions company. Within its core Pet Solution Business, the Kyushu region has faced several challenges: 1 reducing lead times and optimizing transportation efficiency based on regional characteristics, 2 ensuring stable operation of a wide-area network including routes between Honshu and Kyushu, and 3 improving last-mile efficiency and reducing environmental impact through joint distribution.
