Over the years, we have also received many critical opinions and comments on issues such as responses to the novel coronavirus, criticism over lookism, compliance, lesson content, bikini judging, and fairness in judging. Especially at regional events, we received numerous comments on: ・ Whether or not events should be held ・ Infection prevention measures ・ Concerns about travel and transportation ・ Worries expressed by parents The association has consistently consulted with local governments and venues to implement safety measures while continuing contest operations. 2nd Place: Feedback on Lookism (Appearance-Based Evaluation) In recent years, we have seen a growing number of comments questioning whether the Miss Contest promotes lookism.
