The "Sendai Miyagi Social Hub," which works to solve regional issues by bringing together diverse stakeholders, and "manaco General Incorporated Association," which creates spaces for children in Miyagi Prefecture, are co-hosting the third session in their series on school refusal, titled "A Real Strategy Session to Shape the 'First Step' We Can Take for Children Experiencing School Refusal!" This event will be held at the Sendai Mediatheque on July 19, 2026 (Sun). Currently, supporting children experiencing school refusal and creating spaces for them is a pressing social issue. Through the first session, "How to Spend Time," and the second session, "Learning from Free School Sites," we have deepened our understanding of the current situation surrounding school refusal. This final session of the three-part series will be a practical workshop based on what we have learned so far, where all participants will consider and shape "concrete actions (strategies) that can be taken starting tomorrow."
