The Yokohama Keieisha Club, a general incorporated association based in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, will hold its 6th Special Lecture on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Yokohama Symposia. The lecture will feature Hideo Fujino, President, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Rheos Capital Works Inc., which manages the Hifumi Investment Trust. He will speak on corporate management and the essence of investment with an eye toward an era in which the Nikkei 225 reaches 100,000. The lecture is titled “Prepare for the Nikkei 225 at 100,000: From a Light Economy to a Heavy Economy.” Key topics include how the economic environment surrounding us is changing, why the idea of the Nikkei 225 reaching 100,000 is becoming more realistic, what corporate executives should decide under that premise, and what investors look for and evaluate in companies. As the nature of investment undergoes major change, the event offers an opportunity to learn directly from a front-line investor about the perspectives needed to become a company chosen by the capital markets.
