Anh) operated a special flight to transport search and rescue and humanitarian aid units and supplies from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Public Security to support relief efforts for the large-scale earthquake that occurred in Venezuela. This special flight transported 124 aid personnel, 10 search and rescue dogs, and 25 tons of equipment and supplies necessary for search and rescue and humanitarian aid activities. The flight, VN66, departed from Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport at 0:45 AM on June 29, 2026, operated by a state-of-the-art wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A350. After performing technical tasks at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, it proceeded to Simon Bolivar International Airport in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, arriving at 11:57 AM on the same day (local time). To ensure the smooth execution of this emergency mission, Vietnam Airlines organized an operations team of 23 members in addition to its ground support system. The team comprised 6 pilots, 10 cabin crew members, 3 maintenance technicians, 1 operations control specialist, and 3 ground operations staff. Necessary logistics were established in a short period, and required procedures, such as obtaining flight permits from various authorities, were promptly completed.
