Phoenix Contact Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Hiromichi Yoshino) will officially launch the Wi-Fi 6 compatible access point dedicated models "FL WLAN 2330" and "FL WLAN 2340" from the FL WLAN series, which enhance wireless utilization efficiency and realize low-latency, high-density connections, in Japan on July 6, 2026 (Mon.). Additionally, the Wi-Fi 6E compatible wireless LAN adapter "FL WLAN 1122" is scheduled to be released in mid-August 2026. Following the successful launch of the Wi-Fi 6 compatible wireless LAN adapters "FL WLAN 1120" and "FL WLAN 1020," which can be used as both client and access points, we are now releasing the Wi-Fi 6 access point dedicated models "FL WLAN 2330" and "FL WLAN 2340." The new models are an integrated antenna type and an external antenna connection type, respectively, and both can connect up to 100 clients. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi 6E compatible wireless LAN adapter "FL WLAN 1122" is an integrated antenna type wireless LAN adapter that can communicate in the 6 GHz band and can be used as both a client and an access point. With the addition of these new models, the FL WLAN series is expected to be increasingly utilized in a wide range of industrial wireless LAN applications that require high-speed, low-latency, and secure communication. As the adoption of AGVs/AMRs progresses to realize flexible production environments, low latency and high reliability are essential for wireless communication with these mobile devices. Additionally, in the maintenance of industrial equipment, there is a growing demand for high-speed wireless communication due to needs such as reduced wiring costs and labor, the use of mobile terminals, and an increase in the amount of data to be visualized. By using Wi-Fi 6(E) compatible FL WLAN series products, it becomes possible to build low-latency and secure systems that meet such objectives in many industrial sites worldwide.
