Base Entertainment Asia and Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) will present "ENLIGHTENMENT JAPAN, CREATED BY PROJEKTIL," a 360-degree immersive spectacle of sound and light, starting October 10, 2026, at the Central Hall on the 1st floor of the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, a "Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property (Building)." This immersive spectacle, which has been performed in over 90 cities worldwide and in more than 100 historical buildings, captivating a cumulative total of 3 million people, is based on Vivaldi's masterpiece "The Four Seasons" and will finally premiere in Japan. A Show of Music and Light Spanning 360 Degrees of a Historical Building This performance utilizes 360-degree projection mapping, transforming the walls, ceiling, and pillars of the Central Hall on the 1st floor of the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts into screens. Combined with visuals created specifically for the architectural space and Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons," attendees can enjoy an immersive experience lasting approximately 30 minutes, divided into six parts. The Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts has supported Osaka's culture since its opening in 1936. The vast space of the Central Hall, with its white vaulted ceiling and imposing pillars, creates an overwhelming scale. This, coupled with the expansive walls that receive light, lends deep dimension and immersion to the 360-degree visuals. When the dignity of this Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property (Building), with its nearly 90-year history, merges with Vivaldi's music and light art, an experience unique to this space unfolds.
