Overview and Purpose of Acquisition Igalfan is advancing the development of the world's first oral IgA antibody (immunoglobulin A) medicine to control and treat dysbiosis, an imbalance of gut microbiota, aiming to become a platform for the prevention and treatment of many diseases. In November 2022, we licensed the exclusive rights in Japan for this IgA antibody to FM. To accelerate integrated domestic and international development through unified decision-making and optimal allocation of management resources, we made FM a wholly-owned subsidiary on June 30, 2026. On the same day, the license agreement between Igalfan and FM was mutually terminated, and Igalfan now holds the exclusive global license rights.
